Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Azure Engineer in Coppell, TX.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Azure Engineer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure. You'll oversee a team of onshore and offshore engineers, ensuring the successful execution of cloud infrastructure projects while driving performance, security, and scalability. Responsibilities will include:
* Architecting secure and scalable Azure environments
* Mentoring technical staff
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud-native applications
* Champion best practices in cloud security, automation, and cost optimization, while staying ahead of emerging Azure technologies and trends
REQUIREMENTS:
* Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
* Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments
* Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and driving cloud initiatives
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
* Familiarity with hybrid cloud setups and integrating on-prem infrastructure with Azure
* Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS) and serverless computing (Azure Functions, Logic Apps)
* Deep expertise in Azure services: Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity, Security, and DevOps
* Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Azure Bicep
* Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, compliance frameworks, and data protection
* Skilled in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
