Job Description

OAC is Oracle's strategic analytics platform for the future, powered by the latest advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. We are looking for a developer ready for a new challenge in a fast-paced environment to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug intelligent software programs.

Be part of an energetic and challenging team building an enterprise Analytics cloud service that leverages AI to help users quickly gain insights from their most valuable asset: data.

We develop, deploy, and support a cloud platform for data analytics and AI-driven insights, helping our customers succeed in their journey to drive business value. On the team, you will work with experts in analytics and AI, be challenged while creating intelligent features for our customers, encouraged to be creative, and hopefully have some fun along the way.

Every organization has the need for analytics and AI-that is, every organization has data they need to gather, analyze, interpret, and act on. But that is easier said than done, especially as the amount and diversity of data sources exponentially grow. Today's fast-paced business environment, fueled by AI, may leave organizations with little time to rethink their analytics and data-driven strategies. Accessing new data sources and determining what is valuable-especially with the assistance of AI and machine learning algorithms-is no easy feat. Without the time or means to evolve, or technology flexible enough to incorporate AI as demands increase, businesses can only achieve the status quo. Innovation will have to wait.

Oracle Analytics is an industry-leading product that empowers entire organizations with a full range of business analytics and AI-powered tools, enterprise-ready reporting, and engaging, easy-to-use self-service data visualizations. Our customers are business users who demand a software product that combines ease of use and powerful AI-driven insights, navigating the full spectrum of data scale-from simple spreadsheets to analyzing enormous volumes of information in enterprise-class data warehouses.

Responsibilities

As a member of the development team, you will design, implement, debug, and support innovative analytics features using TypeScript/JavaScript/HTML/XML/CSS/SCSS, Oracle JET and Java technologies. You will specify and deliver enhancements to existing software architecture to meet evolving needs and collaborate closely with peers around the globe, including teams in Mexico, India, and the USA.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deliver new features for a world-class analytics platform, deployable both on Oracle Cloud and on-premises.
  • Lead the creation of formal design specifications and contribute to the coding of complex systems.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to define product requirements and functionality.
  • Develop software applications in accordance with established coding standards.
  • Communicate regularly with project teams to provide updates on development progress.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to the user interface, software architecture, or adoption of new technologies.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables through adherence to development standards and QA procedures.
  • Perform maintenance and enhancements on existing software solutions.
