Duration: 6-Month Contract

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join a dynamic cloud engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in cloud platform engineering, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and cloud security best practices. You ll collaborate across multiple teams to build resilient, scalable cloud infrastructure with a focus on AWS and multi-cloud environments.

This role includes responsibilities across the full lifecycle of cloud solution delivery, from architecture and implementation to monitoring and support, embracing the principles of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Zero Trust Architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Participate in full cycle of CloudOps, Cloud Engineering, and development from architecture to documentation
• Optimize cloud performance, security, and cost across platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Integrate cloud services into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Monitor and audit cloud environments using tools like Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus
• Lead automation efforts for provisioning, deployment, and configuration management
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and lead incident response efforts as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineering, DevSecOps, and IT operations
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure design and management
• Strong experience with AWS and/or other cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Deep understanding of IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Solid grasp of networking, cloud security, and best practices
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows and DevOps tools
• Familiar with monitoring/logging tools such as ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
• Experience designing and implementing full-stack or microservice infrastructures using IaC
• Knowledge of secure software development methodologies and code-first approaches
