As a(n) SAP PP/PM Consultant, you will:

Job Summary:

• Seeking a highly experienced SAP PP/PM implementation specialist with deep domain expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing and equipment maintenance.
• The consultant will lead comprehensive manufacturing implementations, bringing extensive knowledge of production planning, quality integration, and maintenance strategies in validated environments.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Implementation Leadership:

• Lead end-to-end SAP PP/PM implementation projects for complex manufacturing environments
• Conduct comprehensive manufacturing process assessments and system design workshops
• Design integrated manufacturing solutions spanning PP, PM, QM, and related modules
• Develop detailed functional specifications for production planning, shop floor execution, and maintenance processes
• Execute complex configurations including manufacturing organizational structures, work centers, and routing
• Lead manufacturing data migration including BOMs, routings, work centers, and equipment master data
• Manage integration with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and process control systems

Domain Expertise & Process Design:

• Design comprehensive production planning processes including demand-driven manufacturing and capacity optimization
• Implement advanced Bill of Materials (BOM) structures with variant configuration and engineering change management
• Configure sophisticated routing and work center management with capacity planning and finite scheduling
• Design preventive maintenance strategies with condition-based and predictive maintenance capabilities
• Implement maintenance planning and scheduling with resource optimization and spare parts management
• Configure production order management with shop floor data collection and backflushinp
• Design quality-integrated manufacturing processes with in-process inspection and batch documentation

Healthcare Manufacturing Specialization:

• Implement cGMP-compliant manufacturing processes with batch record generation and review
• Design pharmaceutical production planning with campaign planning and cleaning validation schedules
• Configure equipment qualification processes (IQ/OQ/PQ) and calibration management
• Implement batch genealogy and product traceability throughout the manufacturing process
• Design change control processes for manufacturing procedures and equipment modifications
• Configure deviation management and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) workflows integrated with production

Required Skills & Experience:

SAP Implementation Experience:

• 10+ years of comprehensive SAP PP/PM implementation experience with minimum 5 full lifecycle manufacturing projects
• Proven track record of leading complex manufacturing implementations in process and discrete industries
• Deep technical expertise in SAP PP configuration including production planning, BOM management, and shop floor integration
• Extensive experience with SAP PM configuration including maintenance planning, work order management, and equipment hierarchy
• Strong experience with manufacturing integration including MES connectivity and process control systems
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing data migration and master data management

Domain Knowledge:

• Extensive manufacturing and production planning domain expertise across multiple industries
• Deep understanding of lean manufacturing, six sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong knowledge of maintenance strategies, reliability engineering, and asset management
• Experience with capacity planning, finite scheduling, and manufacturing optimization
• Understanding of manufacturing quality systems and statistical process control
• Knowledge of advanced manufacturing concepts like Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing

Healthcare Manufacturing Expertise:

• Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturing implementation experience
• Deep understanding of cGMP regulations, FDA validation requirements, and quality systems
• Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes including API production, formulation, and packaging
• Knowledge of equipment qualification, calibration management, and maintenance in validated environments
• Understanding of batch manufacturing, cleaning validation, and change control processes

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP PP/PM certification
• Advanced manufacturing or engineering degree
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA manufacturing functions and embedded analytics
• Knowledge of digital manufacturing technologies and IoT integration
• Previous experience with validated manufacturing systems and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.

The ideal candidate will have: SAP PP/PM implementation experience, and Pharmaceutical Domain experience.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $70 - $90 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
