Overview:
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager with proven experience leading cybersecurity initiatives during mergers and acquisitions. This role requires deep understanding of integrating cybersecurity functions, managing governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), and maintaining RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs for high-impact programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the cybersecurity workstream for M&A initiatives, including integration of people, processes, and technology
  • Oversee the consolidation of two cybersecurity teams, ensuring alignment of policies, tooling, and reporting structures
  • Collaborate with InfoSec leadership to assess security postures and define unified controls post-merger
  • Manage GRC activities, including policy alignment, risk assessments, and compliance readiness (NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, etc.)
  • Own and maintain detailed RAID logs, driving accountability and proactive resolution of critical issues
  • Coordinate across security, IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure secure, compliant integrations
  • Provide clear reporting and executive-level updates on progress, risks, and mitigation plans

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience with a strong focus in cybersecurity
  • Direct experience managing cybersecurity efforts during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures
  • Knowledge of GRC frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational skills with experience maintaining RAID logs and driving complex project plans
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical teams
  • PMP, CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications strongly preferred
