Job Description:

>> Experience in application development in legacy technologies like COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, Easy trieve, IDEAL Datacom, RPG, ASM, MQ (at least some of the technologies, if not all)

>> Conduct discovery and assessment of existing mainframe workloads (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, IMS, CICS)

>> Define modernization strategies: Rehost, Re platform, Refactor, Retire, Replace

>> Design target-state architecture for rehosted applications on cloud or distributed platforms

>> Design ETL processes for migrating mainframe data Datacom to SQL Server

>> Act as SME for modernization initiatives

>> Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams

Requirements:

>> Experience in application development in legacy technologies like COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, Easytrieve, IDEALDatacom, RPG, ASM, MQ (at least some of the technologies, if not all)

>> Understanding of interfacing systems and ongoing projects
