Position Overview:

We are seeking a Azure Data Solution Architect with 8 years of experience in end-to-end data warehousing architecture.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of modern data architectures and cloud data platforms,
including experience with building out Azure Cloud, Databricks, and Snowflake.
This role requires knowledge of data modeling best practices for Data Warehouses and Data Marts,
including dimensional modeling with conformed dimensions and facts.
Additionally, the candidate should have experience working with healthcare data, particularly on
HEDIS/STARS related data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in defining the Data Architecture for a HEDIS/STARS Data Mart, ensuring alignment with best practices for dimensional data modeling with conformed dimensions and facts.
• Support the Solution Blueprint effort to enhance the existing HEDIS/STARS Data Mart solution.
• Help design and implement a data middle layer utilizing a dimensional data model at the necessary level of grain for flexible and dynamic calculation of HEDIS/STARS measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and migration of the existing SQLServer on-premises solution to the Azure Cloud data tech stack (ADF, SHIR, Logic Apps, ADLS Gen2, Blob Storage, etc.) and Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain technical architecture, solution architecture, and data architecture documentation.
• Provide guidance and support to junior architects and data engineers.
• Ensure best practices in data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration are followed.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience as an end-to-end data warehousing architect.
• Experience with building out modern data architectures and cloud data platforms, including Azure Cloud, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Experience working with healthcare data, specifically on HEDIS/STARS related data solutions.
• Knowledge of data modeling best practices for Data Warehouses and Data Marts, including dimensional modeling with conformed dimensions and facts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in supporting solution blueprint efforts and enhancing data mart solutions.
• Experience with SQL Server on-premises and cloud migration projects.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Self-hosted Integration Runtime (SHIR), Logic Apps, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2), and Blob Storage.
• Understanding of healthcare industry standards and regulations.
