Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst & Data Modeler to support data architecture, modeling, metadata management, and SQL optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in analyzing business requirements, developing data models, automating DDL processes, and working within cloud-based data environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and define detailed data needs.
- Design, develop, and integrate analytical data models (logical and physical).
- Automate DDL generation from Erwin physical models.
- Review and validate data models created by other team members.
- Optimize SQL queries and DDL scripts for performance.
- Analyze datasets to identify and classify PII.
- Update and maintain metadata in the enterprise data catalog.
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in data modeling (logical/physical), with strong knowledge of star schema design.
- Proficiency with Erwin Data Modeler.
- Expert-level data analysis skills.
- Hands-on experience with SQL performance optimization.
- Experience working in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), specifically BigQuery.
- Familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Informatica EDC is a plus.
