Title: Business Analyst Commercial Operations (Pharma)-(CRM, MDM, Data Warehouse, Reporting)

Location: Remote/NJ

Overview

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst / Engagement Manager with strong experience supporting pharmaceutical companies across the commercialization lifecycle from startup to post-market. This role will bridge business and technical teams, ensuring the effective design, integration, and delivery of CRM, MDM, Data Warehouse, and Reporting solutions that empower commercial operations, sales, and headquarters personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Solution Design

Partner with clients to gather, document, and translate detailed business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

Design and document use cases, data flows, and architecture diagrams to support business process decision-making.

Collaborate with commercial operations stakeholders to identify opportunities for business process improvements.

Customer & Sales Force Enablement

Support design and configuration of Customer MDM, CRM, Data Warehouse, and Reporting platforms to align with commercial operations goals.

Assist clients in establishing and refining Alignment Management processes for assigning HCPs and organizations to U.S. geographies.

Enable integration of platforms (CRM, MDM, Data Warehouse, Reporting) to provide a unified view of customer and sales data.

Data Analysis & Integration

Develop and execute SQL scripts to analyze, transform, and validate data for software development, integration, and testing.

Work with technical teams to ensure accurate data mapping and system integration across platforms.

Provide insights to support sales data analysis and strategic adjustments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Engagement Manager, or similar role, ideally within pharmaceutical commercial operations.
  • Strong understanding of CRM, MDM, Data Warehousing, and Reporting platforms in the life sciences domain.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and validation.
  • Familiarity with Alignment Management, Territory Management, and Customer Master processes in pharma.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Strong client-facing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing client engagements.
