RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a QA Engineer in Phoenix, AZ.

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. This role requires a passion for quality, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to continuously improve testing processes and product reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
* QA Engineer will develop comprehensive testing strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases
* Execute manual and automated tests to ensure high-quality software delivery
* Collaborate closely with engineers to improve code quality and resolve defects
* Raise clear, actionable bugs and follow through to resolution
* Monitor application quality and assist in go/no-go release decisions
* As a QA Engineer, you will leverage tools and automation to enable fast, repeatable testing
* Track and analyze QA metrics such as defect counts, test results, and test status
* Contribute to a positive, high-performance team culture

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience testing web services, business logic, and enterprise integrations
* Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, HP QTP, or similar
* Experience working in Agile, rapid development, and Waterfall SDLC environments
* Strong understanding of QA principles, testing processes, and documentation
* Solid knowledge of databases, SQL, and scripting
* Familiarity with object-oriented programming and Java
* Proficiency in web technologies (HTTP/S, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, XML, JSON, REST)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Abstract thinking and problem-solving in ambiguous environments
* Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and pride in delivering quality software
* Ability to interpret technical and business objectives effectively
* Experience with performance and security testing is a strong plus
* Exposure to service virtualization is a nice-to-have

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
