Fleet Administrator
Are you detail-oriented with a passion for operational efficiency? We are seeking a proactive and organized Fleet Administrator to support our company-wide vehicle fleet. This is a temporary position with the potential to transition into a direct hire role for the right candidate.
Position Overview:
The Fleet Administrator will partner closely with our fleet services provider to manage and optimize the company’s vehicle program. From handling vehicle registrations to assisting drivers and maintaining accurate records, you'll play a key role in keeping our fleet running smoothly and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the corporate fleet manager on vehicle ordering, registration, transfers, and disposal processes.
- Assist in processing initial tags, titles, and renewals, ensuring timely compliance.
- Provide guidance and support to company drivers regarding vehicle policies and procedures.
- Monitor and generate reports on fuel consumption, mileage, preventative maintenance, and other fleet metrics to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for drivers (including MVR checks, CBT compliance, and fuel PINs) and vehicles.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of vehicle users, including handling toll tag information.
- Ensure all fleet activities adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Support the day-to-day management of fleet operations, working closely with field employees and other internal teams.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills across various tasks and stakeholders.
- 1-3 years of experience in fleet management, administration, or related operations.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional certifications in fleet management are a plus.
- Eligibility to work permanently in the United States.
- Proficiency in computer applications, report generation, and data management.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and written communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
