We re\nlooking for a passionate product manager to be part of the Product Support\nteam. This individual will manage the R&D development that looks to improve\nexisting products in the various portfolios assisting the SGTX-9000HL Gas\nTurbine (GT) applications service product lines primarily. This role will also\nintegrate with Engineering to support global project implementation for all\nframes and engine class within Siemens Energy.

How You ll Make an Impact

  • Support/Lead\n Product Development for products as defined in the R&D portfolio\n (Product Management)
  • \n
  • Collaborate\n with engineering team to help support creation of product packages\n release.
  • \n
  • Engage\n and/or lead engineering efforts, including Fleet operational monitoring\n for GT fleet.
  • \n
  • Kick-off\n and lead RCA (Root Cause Investigation) within GT and Repair. Create\n and/or support engineering documents to support release of\n recommendations.
  • \n
  • Support\n Service Product lines in developing internal pricing for new products\n developed by Engineering.
  • \n
  • Negotiation,\n bid support and implementation for new products developed under R&D\n portfolio.

What You Bring

    \n
  • Bachelor s\n degree or equivalent in an engineering/technical field (ie. Mechanical or\n Aerospace) with at least 8+ years of professional experience, Master s\n degree preferred.
  • \n
  • Minimum\n 5 years of experience in a leadership position; experience in the energy\n industry is required. (Note: Combined cycle and balance of plant\n experience is desirable, but not required.)
  • \n
  • Strong\n program management and communications skills, networking building, and\n solid engineering background.
  • \n
  • Operational\n attitude with a hands-on mentality
  • \n
  • Excellent\n communication skills, with strong command of written and spoken English
  • \n
  • Knowledge\n of second language (Spanish, Portuguese or other) is a plus.
  • \n
