Senior Systems Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst in Westlake, TX.

Responsibilities:
* Facilitating flow of requirements from the business to the technology team
* Reducing requirements and design risk and resulting costs associated with errors
* Exercise a passion for keeping your knowledge up to date with evolving technology
* Take ownership and accountability for figuring out what needs to be done

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree Computer Science or related technology discipline
* Proven experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) preferably worked with DB2, Oracle and/or Postgres and digging into data using logging tools
* Proven professional experience as a Systems Analyst for software solutions, preference around modernizing from legacy to cloud systems; Knowledge of payment systems is a bonus
* Experience researching, optimizing, developing, and authoring solution requirements, user stories, and specifications for moderate to complex software systems
* Proven experience with Agile development methodologies
* Deep knowledge of Mainframe COBOL, VSAM files, Batch/Online Process, Batch Scheduler, IOM (Input/Output Modules) and CICS
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving & interpersonal skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
