Location: Overland Park, Kansas (Hybrid - onsite 3-4 days)
Overview:
Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Engineering Technician 5, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the development of site drainage, grading, and utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3D.
Collaborate with team members to produce site plans, detailed engineering drawings, profiles, construction drawings, and details.
Convert field survey data into topographic survey drawings and surfaces suitable for producing site plans and construction drawings.
Apply intermediate knowledge of engineering standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, and B&V policies and procedures.
Stay updated with industry knowledge and technology trends.
Interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned.
Understand basic construction and constructability practices and principles.
Apply basic engineering design principles and applicable design guides related to the assigned engineering discipline.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Certificate preferred. Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
Typically, a minimum of 5 years related work experience.
Civil design/site layout experience using Civil 3D.

Experience in the appropriate electronic applications and programs required for performing assignments to include but not limited to CADD or other electronic applications.
Advanced ability to interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned. \
Intermediate knowledge of engineering standards, systems, document control, departmental guides and B&V policies and procedures.
Intermediate industry knowledge and technology trends.
Intermediate knowledge of company quality program.
Intermediate knowledge of other disciplines.
Basic knowledge of construction & constructability practices & principles.
Basic knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides related to assigned engineering discipline. \
Basic knowledge of procurement & contract administration.
The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $160,000 or the hourly equivalent.
