Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for an Ab Initio Admin
Title: Ab Initio Admin
Position type: Full Time Contract
Duration: 13+ Months
Location: Charlotte, NC
As Ab Initio Admin, You would:
- Install, configure, and upgrade Ab Initio software components, including Co-Operating System, and related products.
- Administer and maintain the Ab Initio, including user management, security setup, and metadata management.
- Monitor the health and performance of the Ab Initio environment, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of Ab Initio graphs and infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies for the Ab Initio environment.
- Manage and troubleshoot Ab Initio batch schedules and dependencies.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and execution of Ab Initio applications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to Ab Initio developers and users.
- Implement and enforce security policies and best practices for the Ab Initio environment.
- Document all administration tasks, configurations, and procedures.
- Stay up to date with the latest Ab Initio releases, features, and best practices.
- Participate in capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades related to Ab Initio.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues between Ab Initio and various data sources and targets.
- Manage and maintain Ab Initio version control and deployment processes.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience as an Ab Initio Administrator.
- Proven experience in installing, configuring, and administering Ab Initio Co>Operating System and EME.
- Understanding of Ab Initio architecture, components, and best practices.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Ab Initio graphs and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in shell scripting (e.g., Unix, Linux).
- Experience with database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata).
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with job scheduling tools.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
- Ab Initio certifications are a plus.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $60 to $65 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
