Position Contributions to Work Group:
The scope of this position includes management for all financial, commercial, contractual, and technical aspects of Advanced Electrical Service (AES) projects. The scope also includes oversight of the planning, design, procurement, assembly, test, shipment and commissioning of AES projects. The person in this position will provide commercial and technical support to various cross-functional teams including engineering, purchasing, production and field service.

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Position Contributions to Work Group:

The scope also includes oversight of the planning, design, procurement, assembly, test, shipment and commissioning of AES projects. The person in this position will provide commercial and technical support to various cross-functional teams including engineering, purchasing, production and field service.
Typical task breakdown:
- This individual must be able to oversee projects by working with design, contract, commercial and production planning specialists.
- It should require very little supervision.
- Exercises considerably latitude in determination of commercial objectives.
- Would typically provide project oversite from Order Entry through Final Commissioning & Close-out of Advanced Electrical Services (AES) projects.
- Must be a self-starter, able to approach complex issues with innovative and inventive solutions.
- Ideas and recommendations to management relative to new applications and approaches are usually accepted when making policy decisions.
- This individual must ensure all technical and commercial strategies are well understood throughout the Production & Engineering project teams.
- Coordinates project schedules with external customers as well as internal cross-functional teams. Interfaces with customers on technical and commercial matters.
- Prepares cost estimates at booking, shipment and at completion of start-up.
- Regularly monitors project schedule progress with engineering, procurement, and production operations. Monitors Customer Drawings and reviews & approves Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
- Regularly checks progress of AES projects on production floor to ensure compliance with specifications; ensure adherence to project milestones; and resolve issues.
- Represents customers interests with respect to resolution of quality issues.
- Assured project revenue recognition & profitability are aligned with Company financial plans.
- Will regularly interact internally with project managers, department leaders, business managers, production managers, product support teams, and engineering teams.
- External interactions will include project managers and sales management for Dealers, as well as major clients, and sub-suppliers.

Education & Experience:
- Associate's degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience OR
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years' additional on the job experience
- Master's or above
- Internships/project work will be counted toward experience requirement as long as durations are listed on resume.
- Prefer electric power/genset/backup power experience, but other industry experience will be considered if commercial and business skill sets are evident.
- Additional experience (above 5 years ) will NOT be considered as overqualified
