Job Title: 7108 - Automation QA Engineer UiPath/UFT + SQL + Azure Logic Apps
Location: Elk Grove, CA (Onsite or Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months (with possible 1-year extension)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (PST)
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Automation Tester to support the implementation of automated testing solutions across enterprise applications. The consultant will help design, maintain, and enhance a comprehensive automation framework and test suite to support functional and regression testing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain end-to-end and regression automation tests for UI and API layers using tools such as UiPath and Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
- Translate system requirements into robust test cases and automation scripts.
- Automate manual test cases and workflows using tools including Azure Logic Apps.
- Write complex SQL queries to perform data validation and support back-end testing.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, developers, and QA leads to validate application functionality and identify defects.
- Participate in testing activities including planning, design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Maintain test documentation including test design, test scripts, training guides, and reports.
- Submit weekly status reports detailing progress, risks, and mitigation efforts.
- Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to internal QA team members.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing, including framework development.
- Hands-on experience with UiPath and UFT for automation.
- Experience creating workflows using Azure Logic Apps.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for test data setup and validation.
- Experience with full-cycle QA including test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Familiarity with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous experience on healthcare-related or compliance-driven projects.
- Experience performing testing in highly regulated environments.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Experience mentoring junior QA staff or leading test efforts.
Work Conditions & Requirements:
- Must be available to work 40 hours/week during standard business hours.
- Must complete and pass a Live Scan fingerprint/background check.
- Must complete TB testing and submit certification prior to start.
