Job Description:
We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer / Deskside Support Technician to provide onsite IT support at a Waterloo, IA facility. This role is hands-on, customer-facing, and requires a dependable individual who can work independently during overnight shifts.

Responsibilities
Provide deskside IT support including imaging computers, troubleshooting hardware, and replacing peripherals.
Manage service tickets (ServiceNow or similar ITSM system) and follow knowledge base articles for resolution.
Support and maintain printers (toner replacement, roller fixes, etc.) and other end-user hardware.
Perform asset management tasks such as updating inventory records, disposing of outdated assets, and ordering supplies.
Monitor and maintain equipment, including scheduling basic maintenance.
Drive between local sites as needed using a personal vehicle; may also operate facility vehicles after training.
Participate in a weekend on-call rotation.
Communicate effectively with end users and document resolutions.

Requirements
Local candidate able to work onsite in Waterloo, IA (relocation not provided).
Willingness to work overnight 3rd shift and participate in on-call rotation.
Metatarsal safety shoes required on day one.
1+ year of IT support experience OR recent graduate with an IT-related degree/certification.
Knowledge of computing, networking basics, and IT security concepts.
Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, intranet/internet functions.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for local travel.
No visa sponsorship or cross-border employment available.

Preferred Background
Previous experience as a Deskside Support Technician, IT Support Specialist, Help Desk Technician, or similar.
Experience with ServiceNow or comparable IT ticketing systems.
Strong troubleshooting ability with both hardware and software.
