Opportunity to join a growing international organization undergoing digital transformation, implementing new ERP and P2P systems. Seeking an experienced SAP Business Process Architect / Functional Analyst to support business transformation initiatives and drive efficiency across the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment.
You will act as the liaison between Business, IT, and Corporate Accounting to ensure process optimization, change management, and successful release planning. You should have a strong understanding of SAP FI/CO functions and features and business process design. Utilize your experience with previous integrations working with managed services and implementation partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Process Architecture:
- Design, document, and optimize end-to-end process flows across finance and accounting.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements and SAP functionality.
- Project Leadership:
- Serve as Business PM to coordinate with central and corporate accounting teams, business process owners, IT, and system implementation partners.
- Support release planning, regression testing, and go-live activities.
- Liaison Role:
- Act as the bridge between Business and IT / managed services teams, ensuring clear communication, requirement translation, and issue resolution.
- Change Management:
- Lead user training, UAT testing, and communication during system enhancements and upgrades.
- SAP Public Cloud:
- Oversee public cloud upgrades, release management, and regression testing with users to ensure business continuity.
- SAP Administration:
- Support SAP user access, role assignments, and overall governance activities.
- Data Management:
- Coordinate data migration, SAP template alignment, and integration with other systems.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with stakeholders across all levels of the organization to ensure process transparency, accountability, and adoption.
- Documentation:
- Maintain process documentation, test scripts, and functional specifications to ensure audit readiness and business clarity.
BACKGROUND
- Strong experience in SAP functional roles with a focus on FI/CO functionality and related integration points.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud with understanding of upgrade/release cycles
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects and collaboration across the enterprise
- Good experience with SAP template management, data migration, and system integration.
- Solid understanding of SAP role administration and access management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management across business and technical teams.
- Proven ability to document processes and drive change effectively.
- Understanding of SAP regression testing frameworks and business validation processes.
- Experience coordinating multiple vendors or managed service providers.
- Familiarity with finance transformation projects and shared services models.
- SAP-related functional certifications preferred.
