Overview
This is a remote role that may only be hired in North Carolina, Texas, Florida, Illinois or Georgia.
The Treasury Management (TM) Technical Sales Specialist serves as the critical link between the Product Management and Sales teams, acting as the technical subject matter expert for the bank's more complex Treasury Management products and services. This role is responsible for delivering detailed product knowledge to clients, prospects, and internal sales teams, while also providing valuable feedback to Product Management on evolving client needs. TM Technical Sales Specialists partner with Sales to conduct product demonstrations, present tailored solutions, and educate clients-particularly those with advanced or complex requirements-on strategies to optimize efficiency in their banking processes. The position plays an integral role in securing new client opportunities and expanding existing relationships through strategic cross-selling initiatives.
Responsibilities
Sales Support - Partner with Sales to engage prospective and existing clients in the evaluation of complex Treasury Management products. Help to identify potential client targets, participate in pre-bid meetings, conduct needs analysis, and assist in follow-up communications to uncover new opportunities. Utilize bank data sources to identify and pursue cross-selling prospects.
Proposal Development - Collaborate during the proposal phase by preparing technical explanations and conducting product demonstrations for large corporate, municipal, and nonprofit clients based on identified needs.
Service & Implementation - Provide post-sale information to the implementation teams as needed to ensure that the client's needs are met as expected and serve as a resource for complex product-related questions.
Product Expertise & Training - Educate retail, business, and commercial relationship managers on Treasury Management concepts, products, features, and benefits. Serve as a subject matter resource for associates to strengthen product knowledge and client service capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Commercial Banking or Commercial Sales OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Commercial Banking or Commercial Sales
Comfortable being on camera during remote working sessions with all parties.
Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor with limited supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
If hired in Illinois, the base pay for this position is generally between $118,977 and $206,227 per year. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.

- License or Certification Type: CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) Certification, AOCSC (Accredited Order to Cash Solutions Consultant) Certification, APP2P (Accredited Procure to Pay Solutions Consultant) Certification
- Proven track record of success in winning Treasury Management business for a large financial institution.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and able to effectively utilize other standard office tools and technologies as needed.
- Experience presenting complex business solutions and product demonstrations.
- Deep understanding of Treasury Management products, services and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally, both orally and in writing, with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
