Immediate need for a talented Mainframe FTP Analyst. This is a 12 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Westlake, TX(Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:
- The EDT team is the primary entry point used by a wide variety of Client clients to send financial and indicative information to multiple Client service channels (Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, Stock Plan, Health and Welfare, etc).
- This team is responsible for the support of all aspects of file transmissions between Client and its clients and vendors.
- The responsibilities include the triage of transmission failures, oversight of the environment, and resolution of user-generated request tickets.
- We are always exploring new ways to continually provide value to our customers.
- This team has a direct and positive impact on Client s customers, by building and maintaining day-to-day internal and external relationships in order to provide an ongoing high-quality level of service to customers.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 6-9 Years of working experience and strong knowledge of FTP / SFTP / AS2/ NDM and other managed file transmission protocols.
- Perform batch and data support activities using JCL, COBOL, DB2 and various Mainframe tools and practices such as Control M, TSO, ISPF, SQL, etc.
- Ability to script mainframe automation with REXX and other mainframe tools.
- Prior Experience with Client mainframe application and batch processing is a plus.
- Proven experience with Python scripting.
- Linux and Windows OS administration skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be capable of learning complex processes quickly and have the ability to learn through independent research and as a member of a multi-location team.
- Proven written skills and record of producing high-quality documentation.
- Strong customer focus and customer satisfaction orientation.
- The applicant should also demonstrate effective communication skills; both written and verbal, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with technical as well as non-technical associates.
- Ability to function optimally in a meaningful role balancing multiple projects and requests.
