Position Overview
The Business Analyst / Project Coordinator will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment, clarity, and successful delivery of digital initiatives. This role involves requirements gathering, backlog management, process improvement, and agile coordination to support the continued enhancement of our mobile application and related systems.


Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering, Documentation, and Story Creation

  • Meet with stakeholders to understand business and technical needs.

  • Document and validate requirements to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Build and maintain a backlog of development work items with clearly defined acceptance criteria.

Stakeholder Alignment

  • Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure all parties understand objectives, dependencies, and desired outcomes.

  • Provide progress updates to leadership through status slide presentations, analytics reports, and ad hoc communications.

Backlog and Change Management

  • Manage and groom the project backlog to maintain prioritization and clarity.

  • Track progress and handle requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment and transparency.

Scrum Master Support

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, ensuring user stories are prioritized, scheduled into sprints, and successfully developed, deployed, and tested.

  • Support team velocity and remove blockers to maintain consistent sprint delivery.

Process Analysis and Improvement

  • Evaluate existing business and technical processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement workflow enhancements and system optimizations that improve business outcomes.

Prioritization and Planning

  • Prioritize requests and new features based on business value, strategic alignment, and resource availability.

  • Assist in roadmap planning and communicate prioritization decisions effectively to stakeholders.


First 90-Day Deliverables

  • Develop familiarity with the customer segments served through the mobile application.

  • Build relationships with stakeholders and technical team members.

  • Deliver status presentations, analytics reports, and user stories for 2026 feature development initiatives.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor s degree required.

Experience

  • 1+ years of experience preferred, ideally in roles involving business analysis, project coordination, or technology strategy.

Target Backgrounds / Industries

  • Consulting, Project Management Office (PMO), Mobile App Development, or Technology Strategy.
