The Quality Strategy & Execution Lead is an individual contributor who translates strategic quality vision into practical execution across a complex, multi-stream transformation program. Acting as a bridge between Quality/Test leadership and delivery teams, this role ensures testing governance is embedded into daily practice and surfaces risks, dependencies, and blockers without slowing momentum.
Key Focus Areas:
Align quality goals and processes with Test Managers, Delivery Leads, and Project Managers.
Translate strategy into actionable guidance, track follow-through, and maintain a program-level view of quality maturity and Go/No-Go readiness.
Oversee testing standards by reviewing test plans, test cases, and execution results for completeness and accuracy.
Ensure end-to-end traceability from requirements to defects, maintaining audit-ready data in Zephyr and Jira.
Build dashboards and provide actionable insights on test coverage, defect trends, and execution progress.
Champion effective tool usage (Zephyr and Jira), coach teams, and partner with tool admins to refine workflows.
Required Skills & Tools:
Advanced expertise in Zephyr Scale and Jira (including JQL and dashboards)
Strong knowledge of testing lifecycle management and defect workflows
Experience across Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery models
Data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, Confluence, BI tools)
Excellent cross-functional communication and influence skills
Ideal Background:
10+ years in enterprise test quality, test management, or strategic QA roles
Proven track record operationalizing quality strategy in matrixed, multi-vendor environments
Balanced strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and ability to drive resolution
