Job Description:

  • Managing and Supporting retail Point of Sale system within larger Dynamics AX environment.
    Configuring and Customizing POS , data flow between POS and the back-end system.
    Has to know back office Retail HQ module, batch jobs, sales transactions and reporting

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled Developer to manage and support the Retail Point of Sale (POS) system within a broader Microsoft Dynamics AX environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring and customizing POS systems, ensuring seamless data flow between POS terminals and backend systems, and working with Retail HQ modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the Dynamics AX Retail POS system across multiple retail locations.
  • Configure and customize POS interfaces and workflows to meet business requirements.
  • Ensure reliable and secure data flow between POS systems and the Dynamics AX backend.
  • Work with the Retail HQ module to manage store operations, product catalogs, and pricing.
  • Monitor and maintain batch jobs related to POS transactions and data synchronization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to sales transactions, reporting, and system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, retail operations, and finance to ensure system alignment with business goals.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, specifically in the Retail POS and Retail HQ modules.
  • Strong understanding of POS configuration and customization.
  • Experience with batch job management, sales transaction processing, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
