Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead Engineer with a strong background in network cable technologies, software development, and a solid understanding of the end-to-end application lifecycle within the Telecom domain. This position plays a critical role in ensuring seamless and efficient activation of cable modems and DOCSIS/SONU devices.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, hands-on development experience, and the ability to architect cloud-native solutions to support the activation and management of network devices across large-scale telecom environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of applications supporting DOCSIS/SONU device activation and management.

  • Apply strong understanding of DOCSIS and SONU standards, protocols, and network operations.

  • Design and implement scalable, cloud-native solutions using AWS services and Kubernetes.

  • Work on integration and optimization of ACS adapters and related components.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support full application lifecycle from development to deployment and operational support.

  • Troubleshoot complex device activation issues and drive improvements in system performance and reliability.

  • Provide mentorship, technical leadership, and best-practice guidance to junior engineers.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of hands-on development experience in Telecom, Network, or Cable domains.

  • Strong expertise with DOCSIS/SONU protocols and device activation workflows.

  • Proven experience working with network cable operations and related technologies.

  • Advanced proficiency in cloud-native development, particularly with AWS and Kubernetes.

    • AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch

  • Experience working with ACS Adapter Integration and TR-069-based systems.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end application lifecycle, from design through deployment.

  • Ability to work onsite in Denver, CO no remote work.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
