Description
The PC Technical Support Technician provides hands-on, on-site technical support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports production-line computer systems, office hardware, network-connected devices, and industrial printers, ensuring stable operation and uptime for all plant technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site desktop and hardware support across production and office areas.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile RF devices, and peripherals.
  • Support computers, phones, printers, and industrial printing equipment.
  • Perform break/fix troubleshooting for end-user devices, servers, and network-connected systems.
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining network servers and Active Directory accounts.
  • Re-image and deploy computers as required.
  • Troubleshoot basic network issues involving routers, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Track and manage hardware inventory and e-waste.
  • Maintain reliable Windows 11 system performance.
  • Reset wireless access points, including ladder-based work in elevated areas.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to maintain production uptime.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to remain effective under pressure.
  • Capable of making timely, informed decisions.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with desktop support, break/fix troubleshooting, printer support, and Windows 10.

Additional Desired Experience

  • Basic network troubleshooting (routers, switches, WAPs).
  • Experience re-imaging and deploying computers.
  • Willingness to complete ladder safety training for elevated work.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular use of PC equipment.
  • Occasional bending, crawling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. for hardware installation.
  • Ability to climb ladders to access and reset wireless access points.
  • Ability to climb 20-25 ft. industrial man-ladders (some without cages) to reach catwalks/mezzanines while carrying hardware.
  • Ability to navigate tight spaces with overhead cabling and HVAC equipment.

This is a Contract position based out of Tipp City, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
