Job Title: Security Engineer
Location: Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Security Engineer with 8 years of experience in Palo Alto Networks, Cisco firewalls, and cloud-native firewall solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures across hybrid environments, with flexibility to support critical operations during weekends when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto and Cisco ASA/Firepower firewalls.
  • Design and enforce security policies, VPNs, and access controls across on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Monitor network traffic, investigate anomalies, and respond to security incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure cloud and network deployments.
  • Conduct firewall audits and optimize rule sets for performance, compliance, and scalability.
  • Provide support during off-hours and weekends for urgent security issues or scheduled maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
  • 8 years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Cisco firewall platforms.
  • Strong understanding of cloud firewall technologies (e.g., AWS Security Groups, Azure NSGs).
  • Solid grasp of network protocols, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools.
  • Preferred Certifications:
  • PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)
  • CCNP Security or CCNA Security (Cisco)
AWS Certified Security Specialty or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
