Description

We are looking for a dedicated Audio/Video Technician! This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background and exceptional interpersonal skills, who can assist in delivering high-quality audio and video solutions for events. The successful candidate will ensure all technology needs are met, while maintaining professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic environment. MULTIPLE SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Weekday and Weekend shifts - most are 10 hour shifts 4 days a week with 3 days off!

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with banquet and event teams to provide requested technology solutions and ensure proper setup, breakdown, and storage of equipment.

Monitor event orders and respond promptly to requests, inquiries, and opportunities to enhance technology delivery.

Coordinate with team members to ensure timely and efficient availability of technology before, during, and after events.

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, offer solutions, and suggest additional technologies when appropriate.

Implement security measures and ensure all cables and wiring are safely and professionally arranged to meet luxury resort standards.

Assist in delivering various media formats, including audio, video, text, and animations, while staying updated on industry trends.

Document and improve processes under the guidance of the Technology Manager to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.

Inspect, repair, clean, and maintain event equipment, ensuring operational readiness and keeping teammates informed of equipment status.

Work under pressure in both public-facing and behind-the-scenes roles, adapting quickly to changing conditions and maintaining professionalism.

Travel to other locations as needed for training and event support, demonstrating independence and initiative in all tasks.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a technical or audio/video role.

Proficiency in working with associated hardware and computer systems.

Hands-on experience with cable installation and management.

Familiarity with Apple devices and their integration into audio/video setups.

Strong knowledge of audio and video technologies, including troubleshooting equipment.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure situations.

Detail-oriented approach to ensure quality and accuracy in all tasks.

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences.
