Sr. Project Manager Marketing (W2 Only)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Project Manager with a strong background in Marketing, Digital Campaigns, and Cross-functional Program Delivery. This role will lead large-scale marketing initiatives, coordinate with creative, analytics, engineering, and product teams, and ensure execution of end-to-end project lifecycle within enterprise environments.
Ideal candidates excel at partnering with stakeholders, managing timelines, and driving measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex marketing projects across digital, brand, and customer engagement channels.
Oversee full project lifecycle: planning, budgeting, scope definition, scheduling, risk management, and delivery.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Creative, Marketing Operations, Product, Engineering, and Data Analytics.
Drive execution of marketing campaigns, content launches, email automation programs, and performance marketing initiatives.
Track deliverables, manage project dependencies, and ensure alignment with business goals and KPIs.
Facilitate stakeholder communication, executive updates, and project documentation.
Implement project governance, workflows, and best practices for marketing project execution.
Identify risks, escalate issues proactively, and ensure on-time delivery.
Work with internal and external vendors/partners to manage creative and marketing assets.
Utilize project management tools (JIRA, Asana, Trello, Smartsheet, Monday.com, etc.) for tracking and reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of professional Project Management experience.
5+ years specialized in Marketing or Digital Marketing Project Management.
Strong experience in enterprise marketing operations: campaign management, creative workflows, digital content production, or marketing automation.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise in project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with PM tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Asana, Monday.com, or Smartsheet.
Ability to work with marketing analytics and performance metrics.
Must be able to work as a W2 employee (no C2C/third-party).
Preferred Skills
Experience in enterprise-level marketing (Tech, Retail, Finance, Media, or E-commerce).
PMP, CSM, or Agile certifications.
Background working with creative agencies, UX/UI teams, or MarTech platforms.
Familiarity with tools like Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar.
