Job Description
Thinking Minds' client is seeking an experienced SAP BRIM Consultant for a 6-month contract engagement supporting a hybrid delivery model. This role will play a central role in enhancing and supporting end-to-end Order-to-Cash business processes through the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP BRIM and FICA components.
The consultant will be responsible for leading functional workshops to gather business and technical requirements, configuring key SAP BRIM modules-Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), and Convergent Mediation (CM)-and overseeing system testing and user training efforts. The role also involves functional support through user acceptance testing and hypercare, ensuring defect resolution and stability of the billing solution post-implementation.
The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in SAP BRIM and SAP FICA, capable of translating complex billing needs into well-documented functional specifications and scalable system configurations. This role requires a hands-on, collaborative individual with excellent communication and documentation skills to support cross-functional teams effectively.
Responsibilities
Lead requirements-gathering workshops and design Order-to-Cash processes
Configure SAP BRIM modules (CC, CM, CI) and FICA (including dunning and collections)
Translate business needs into functional specifications and system design
Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP BRIM implementation phases
Conduct and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Provide training and user support during UAT and hypercare
Prepare business process documentation and user readiness materials
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in SAP BRIM and billing-related projects
Deep understanding of SAP BRIM components (SOM, CC, CI, CM)
Hands-on SAP FICA configuration skills
Strong experience in billing scenarios involving pricing, rating, and invoicing
Skilled in writing clear functional specifications and leading process workshops
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
