This is a potential contract to hire position.

Job title: Strategic Sourcing Information Technology Analyst

Headline:

This role will lead all aspects of the sourcing from RFx, negotiations, and vendor

management, category assessment, vendor due diligence across all Information

Technology categories.

Job Description:

Partner with IT to understand supplier needs, craft negotiation strategies which

will lead to favorable deal transactions, and take ownership of supplier

management

Conduct related detailed market and vendor research, and is able to

communicate these findings through meaningful research summaries

Day to day performance expectations include research & analysis, data

collection/management, cost modeling, RFx strategy development, RFx creation

and management, supplier communications, negotiations, contracting, and

supplier performance management

Develop award scenarios and emphasize recommendations for stakeholder

evaluation, consideration and decision-making

Lead the execution of spend management projects that accomplish key

objectives. Those objectives may include savings, process effectiveness,

supplier consolidation & management, risk reduction & management, improved

visibility & control of expenditures

Leverage subject matter expertise to advise partners including Legal, Privacy,

Information Security and Compliance throughout contracting process

Able to create presentations that provide a clear and concise narrative driven by

impactful data insights for company leadership and internal stakeholder

communications

Perform total cost of ownership evaluations, perform supply-market research and

conduct pricing audits and impact analysis for the pursuit of continuous cost

improvements

Collaborate as needed with each and every person in the organization in a

personable, approachable manner

Effectively communicate the impact of sourcing decisions to Business Partners

and leadership as appropriate and actively enlist their support

Collaborate to build best spend management practices and technology trends

Consistently maintain a cost management and high level of Stakeholder Focus

attitude

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferably with an analytical focus (Business, Accounting,

Supply Chain, Engineering, etc).

Minimum of 3+ years relevant experience, technology category experience

preferred

Experience in sourcing, procurement, consulting or account executive experience

(i.e. RFP Proposals) is a plus

You have excellent quantitative skills with the ability to dissect problems in a data

driven approach to solving problems

Demonstrated skills in rigorous, fact-based analyses that drive creative problem

solving, proposal preparation, and negotiation

Strong written and verbal communication. Fluency in a Google applications e.g.

Docs/Sheets/Slides is a plus

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail

Who You Are:

Experience in sourcing, procurement, consulting or account executive experience

(i.e. RFP Proposals) is a plus

Requirements:
