Position: Senior Research Scientist
Location: Remote
Roles & Responsibility:
As a Senior Research Scientist, you will:
• Lead the design, simulation, and prototyping of advanced energy harvesting systems
including RF, optical, and vibrational modules.
• Develop efficient power conditioning and energy management circuits, incorporating
next-gen storage solutions like supercapacitors and thin-film batteries.
• Integrate low-power sensor systems and wireless communication modules (BLE,
Zigbee, LoRaWAN) within the energy harvesting architecture.
• Perform analytical modeling and empirical validation of harvesting mechanisms to
ensure robustness in industrial-grade applications.
• Produce high-quality documentation for internal knowledge transfer, intellectual
property (patents), and potential scientific publications.
• Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams in hardware, embedded systems, and
mechanical engineering to develop deployable, field-tested prototypes.
• Contribute to customer-facing demonstrations and industry-aligned proof-of-concept
deployments in international markets.
Must-Have Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Applied Physics, or related fields.
A Ph.D. or post-doctoral research in energy harvesting or related domain is highly
desirable.
• Deep knowledge of electromagnetic theory, vibration energy, and optical physics.
• Proven hands-on experience in energy harvesting techniques, low-power circuit design,
and embedded system integration.
• Prior industrial or applied research experience in building real-world prototypes or working under tight project timelines.
• Proficiency in simulation/design tools like MATLAB, COMSOL, LTspice, or equivalent
platforms.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, scientific thinking, and strong communication
abilities (both verbal and written).
• Ability to thrive in international, multi-disciplinary teams with a solution-oriented and
collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in industrial IoT systems, sensor networks, or autonomous embedded
platforms.
• Authored scientific papers or patents in relevant domains such as smart energy systems
or power-efficient devices.
• Familiarity with reliability testing, robustness validation, or compliance standards for
harsh industrial environments.
