Job Details

Position: GTS-Technical Program Project Management - Advanced

Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)

Duration: 6-12+ months

Must Have Skills
Skill 1 8-10 years of experience in managing SAP implementation/ upgrade projects including 2-3 full life cycle implementations
Skill 2 Experience in adopting PMI or advanced project methodologies in SAP projects, preferable in GTS implementation
Skill 3 Requires a technical background with SAP GTS implementation or migration experience to complete its overall project management responsibility
Skill 4 Manages the SAP GTS migration project including but not limited

Good To have Skills Skill 1 Familiarity with Global Trade, Sales and Logistics business processes would be a plus


Key responsibilities:

  • Years of experience: 15+ Years
  • Manages the SAP GTS migration project including but not limited to the following activities:
  • Defines the project charter, develops governance structure, prepares detailed project plan, monitors the program/project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.
  • Conduct scoping, planning and design workshop engaging business & cross functional teams
  • Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints.
  • This role is most common in a matrix type organization
  • Requires a technical background with SAP GTS implementation or migration experience to complete its overall project management responsibility
  • Ability to conduct meeting with executive leadership team during different phases of the project.
  • Defines direction, adaption to change requirements while conquering obstacles, as well as managing business organization plans and knowing where to shift.

Education and Experience:

  • 8-10 years of experience in managing SAP implementation/ upgrade projects including 2-3 full life cycle implementations
  • Bachelor s degree with certification Project Management professional
  • Experience in adopting PMI or advanced project methodologies in SAP projects, preferable in GTS implementation
  • Experience in managing scoping, design, build, test and production cutover phases of projects
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate & present periodic project status, highlighting the issues & risks and action plans
  • Familiarity with Global Trade, Sales and Logistics business processes would be a plus Strong English verbal and written skills
  • Strong organizational skills and eagerness to drive deliverables to closure
  • Self-starter and proactive, including managing deliverables, able to work independently, understanding timelines and deadlines with minimal guidance
