Job Description
The base salary for this job is $145,018 per year. This salary does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.

- Analyze and design software solutions for new initiatives, business requirements and to optimize, upgrade or transform the existing applications into high performance, highly available applications. Work and coordinate with Software as a Service (SaaS) vendor to incorporate and deploy new enhancements. Collaborate with project team members like Business Analysts, Quality Engineers, Enterprise system Architects and stakeholders to design scalable and reliable software solutions that meets business requirements. Develop proof of concepts, present solution to senior IT leadership and business Leadership to get their signoff on application development/enhancement. Prepare technical specifications for small to large projects, identifying, tracking and resolving technical challenges while ensuring the solution meets Business needs and deadlines set by Project Manager. Build solutions by developing code, batch Jobs, scripts and integrate complex Enterprise software applications and vendor software applications.
Provide technical expertise and support the software applications developed by the team. Work in coordination with Tier-1 and Tier-2 IT Operations and end users to resolve operational issues. Handle production incident escalations, urgent business service requests, change requests as needed. Coordinate across technical teams to ensure rapid response during outages and issues. Prioritize and deploy patches and code hotfixes for various maintenance requests-based customer impact and urgency of the request. Work with infrastructure groups to size and stand-up required hardware and software stacks to address the growing resource needs of the software applications. Monitor and optimize the application Code, Databases, API's as the applications mature in enterprise systems and capabilities.
Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.

Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, $145,018 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.
Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related field and 3 years of work experience.
Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: - Microsoft Office Suite;
- Programming and Scripting Language (C#, C++, Cobol, ASP, .Net, or JCL);
- Database Management tools (SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), PostGresSQL, or MySQL);
- Collaboration software (Jira or Confluence);
- API creation or implementation; and
- SSO implementation.
