Position: Argo Developer / Solution Architect (Remote)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration : 6 months

Note --- This is remote role but they must live in one of these states: (GA, AL, FL, TN, or SC)

Job Description:

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced ARGO Developer to join a new initiative aimed at simplifying and modernizing a regional bank's digital banking platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ARGO systems and experience working with core banking integrations. This is a hands-on development role with a high degree of autonomy, working closely with product and technical teams in a remote setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance ARGO-based solutions for online and mobile banking initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product teams, architects, and vendors to integrate ARGO with core banking systems and third-party platforms.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and customer-centric digital banking features.
  • Support integration patterns involving real-time payments, digital onboarding, and customer authentication workflows.
  • Ensure development aligns with enterprise architecture standards, compliance needs, and security best practices.
  • Document technical designs and provide support from development through deployment.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software development experience, including ARGO platforms in banking environments.
  • Strong understanding of digital banking systems, mobile platforms, and financial services workflows.
  • Proven experience integrating with core banking systems (Jack Henry, FIS, Fiserv) and fintech APIs (e.g., RTP, Zelle, FedNow).
  • Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and middleware integration tools (MuleSoft, Apigee, etc.)
  • Knowledge of security, compliance (FFIEC, PCI), and fraud prevention best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills in a remote working environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in regional or community banking settings.
  • Knowledge of embedded finance, FedNow, and real-time payment systems.
  • Architecture or cloud certifications (TOGAF, AWS, Azure, etc.) are a plus.
