Position: HelpDesk Technician Location: Atlanta, GA 30339 (Onsite)
About the Role:
Seeking a reliable and service-oriented Helpdesk Technician to join our IT support team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical support issues, providing timely and effective assistance to end users. You ll work hands-on with hardware, software, and network-related problems in a Windows and Microsoft 365 environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver first-level support via phone, email, and in-person for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft 365 applications, and basic networking.
Handle user account tasks such as password resets, account unlocks, and onboarding/offboarding.
Document all support activities in the helpdesk ticketing system and escalate issues when needed.
Perform software installations, updates, and routine maintenance.
Set up and configure new workstations and hardware for employees.
Maintain professional and effective communication with users and IT team members.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience in a helpdesk or IT support role.
Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and basic networking principles.
Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and move IT equipment when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Active Directory for user account management.
Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Zendesk, Freshservice, or Spiceworks.
CompTIA A+ or equivalent IT support certification.
