Job Title: OnBase Administrator/Developer III

Position Overview
The OnBase Administrator/Developer III role involves planning, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and modifying Electronic Content Management (ECM) solutions. The position provides advanced OnBase administration and operational support, including incident and problem resolution, change request processing per established SLAs, and regular system health checks to ensure optimal performance.
ETF s OnBase platform is hosted on Hyland s Cloud Offering. Under the supervision of the Dev, Data, and Middleware Section Supervisor, this position provides technical leadership for complex ECM projects that have significant impact across the organization.
Responsibilities include systems analysis, OnBase administration and development, consulting, and implementing solutions that align with ETF s strategic goals. Collaboration will occur with product owners, technical owners, SMEs, OnBase Admins, vendors, and other technical teams.
Work is independent, multitasking in nature, and requires a high level of initiative and communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, develop, test, implement, and modify ECM solutions.
- Provide advanced OnBase administration and support for incident/problem resolution and system maintenance.
- Lead and implement OnBase development efforts including workflows, forms, and dashboards.
- Perform system upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and conduct performance optimization.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and standards for OnBase systems.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver efficient and compliant ECM solutions.
- Research and recommend emerging technologies in electronic document management.
- Deliver training and support to customers, team members, and stakeholders.
Required Certifications & Experience
- OnBase Certified System Administrator Minimum 4 years required
- OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator or Workflow Engineer Minimum 4 years required
- OnBase WorkView Certification and OnBase Certified API Certification Minimum 3 years required
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience developing document types, keywords, queries, reports, forms, import processes, and workflow solutions.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Dashboard and Unity Forms development.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Strong experience with requirements gathering and solution analysis.
- Experience designing and implementing ECM solutions.
- Proficiency in C# and/or Visual Basic for software development.
- Ability to write custom queries in SQL Server.
- Experience performing OnBase system upgrades and resolving technical issues.
- Familiarity with agile development environments.
- Understanding of ECM concepts, incident management, and escalation procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating technical documentation and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of emerging document management technologies and best practices.
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to train and support users and team members effectively.
