Summary:
The Product Support & Insights team is seeking a dynamic and highly analytical Data Analyst with a strong process and detail-oriented approach. Someone comfortable with ambiguity to manage and drive cross functional analyses independently and thrive in the absence of process/oversight. Additionally, this individual should be able to effectively communicate complex data insights through compelling storytelling, surfacing opportunities for team growth and improvement. This role will require leveraging SQL to source and mine data and using Big Data tools such as Tableau, Hive, and Presto so that they can analyze trends, monitor performance metrics, identify areas to improve operational efficiency and guide leadership to make informed decisions backed by data and facts. Additionally, possess expertise in Case Management and CRM tools and can extract valuable insights from them
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track progress toward the Product Support & Insights team's goals.
Leverage internal and external data to derive actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions and drive growth.
Consult with project owners to calculate quantifiable impact and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Identify and implement new metrics to highlight the impact of our work on customer support and issue prevention.
Establish and maintain proper data logging and tracking processes for new initiatives.
Create detailed metric views to provide quick insights into key performance drivers and areas for improvement.
Develop and deliver comprehensive reports to leadership on performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for growth
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience troubleshooting and resolving data table and pipeline issues.
Skilled in crafting compelling narratives with data to convey key findings and trends.
Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders and partners.
3+ years of hands-on SQL experience (creating and updating queries).
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or packages in R/Python.
Experience with reporting systems and data pipeline architecture.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate degree in an analytical field
Experience with Customer Operations or Scaled Services
Experience extracting data from large/complex databases
Must-Have Skills
1. SQL experience (creating - updating queries, troubleshooting, and resolving data table and pipeline issues)
2. Dashboarding Experience - Data visualization tools such as Tableau or packages in R/Python.
3. Data Storytelling - Provide compelling narratives for data
Nice-to-Have Skills
1. Experience with Customer Operations or Scaled Services (working with case management systems)
2. Graduate degree in an analytical field
3. Experience extracting data from large/complex databases
