About the role:
As a Principal Engineer - eVinci Layout/Hazards you will lead nuclear plant site and building layout, equipment, piping & HVAC layout, seismic interaction assessments, internal/external missile assessments, flooding evaluations and other hazard protection evaluations.
This is a hybrid role, based in Etna, PA.
You will report to the Manager of Advance Reactors Modeling.

Minimum of 8 years of experience required
BS in Engineering required, MS in Engineering a plus
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure a plus
Experience with advanced nuclear plant designs including interfaces with systems, equipment, structures, and physical plant arrangement

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate decision-making to accelerate technical progress across the reactor design and analysis groups.
- Identify and define technical risks and challenges, direct efforts to successful resolution.
- Lead main technical teams, providing oversight while delegating work and mentoring team members.
- Provide leadership and coordination during preparation of proposals (work scope definition, coordination of technical descriptions, resource estimates).
- Communicate with partners on design progress, technical issues, cost and schedule.
- Lead the performance of physical arrangement assessments of structures, equipment, piping, commodities, and supports using multi-dimensional (3D) design software.
- Technical coordination between numerous functional disciplines, customers, and vendors to ensure overall plant design meets design parameters, requirements, and support the design, fabrication, construction, and maintenance of large-scale nuclear projects.
