Title: Environment and Release Manager
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Type: Contract to Hire
Our client is seeking a Environment and Release Manager who will implement and manage release processes for code from development/test through production environments.
Key Accountabilities:
- Implement and manage release processes for code from development/test through production environments.
- Manage environments, data refreshes, upgrades, and patches.
- Manage/plan team testing schedules across environments and teams, avoiding collisions between the needs of different teams.
- Track progress of testing vs schedules in test environments.
- Create plans and schedules for the implementation and deployment of features, bug fixes and infrastructure changes across all environments.
- Identify and manage risk, dependencies and communicate them to stakeholders.
- Develop mitigation/contingency plans for discovered risks.
- Coordinate releases with internal and external teams and coordinate release readiness and Go/no-Go reviews.
- Communicate changes/outages and their status to stakeholders.
- Maintain artifacts, calendars, procedures, dependencies, and communication.
- Attend the CAB meetings to discuss the release schedules and identify dependencies.
- Develop dashboards/reporting providing visibility into timelines, status and quality.
