Job Details
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative Domain Business Analyst, who has 12+ years of experience in consumer finance, legal recovery functions and processes, digital collections, legal technology solutions and workflow automation.
Strong business acumen and ability to understand specific business areas to identify opportunities for improvement, optimize business rules, and ensure accuracy, and alignment between business goals and technical capabilities.
Ensure clear communication between business and technical teams, managing business requirements, change requests, and supporting the delivery of new user stories to achieve strategic objectives.
Requires a deep understanding of Legal Recovery Processes, digital collections, legal case selection, prioritization, working closely with multiple stakeholders, to gather requirements, analyze data, develop Business Requirement Documents (BRD), User stories and Strategic Insights that align with business goals and compliance requirements.
This is a high-impact role who thrives at the intersection of analytics, technology, and operations, helping to shape the future of collections and legal recovery through data, insights, and innovation.
The ideal candidate will live in or be willing to relocate to Norfolk, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs, define requirements, and document them for various initiatives.
Solution Design and Implementation: Working with technical teams to design, implement, and test new solutions or enhancements to existing systems.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Working with DBA s to analyze data, identify trends, and create reports for different audiences (e.g., Legal, Risk & Compliance, Complaints & Disputes).
Process Improvement: Identifying process inefficiencies, recommending solutions, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Change Management: Managing change requests, ensuring smooth transitions, and documenting changes for future reference.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and providing reports on compliance and performance.
Data Accuracy and Quality: Ensuring data integrity and accuracy, researching and resolving data issues, and maintaining data standards.
Collaboration and Communication: Facilitating communication between business stakeholders and IT teams, building consensus on solutions, and preparing documentation for handoffs.
