Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Owner with Salesforce Marketing Cloud expertise to help drive the evolution of our digital marketing and customer engagement initiatives. This role will partner closely with Marketing, IT, and key business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver impactful customer journeys and campaigns through Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
You will serve as the voice of the customer and business within the Agile delivery team owning the vision, roadmap, and backlog for marketing automation and digital engagement capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the product roadmap for Salesforce Marketing Cloud initiatives translating marketing strategies into scalable, measurable platform capabilities.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (Marketing, Client Experience, Sales) and technical teams (IT, Developers, Architects) to ensure alignment of goals and deliverables.
  • Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization ensuring that user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature definitions are clear, actionable, and value-driven.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize customer journeys, email campaigns, SMS, push notifications, and other digital touchpoints.
  • Work with Analytics and Marketing teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure all initiatives are tracked, measured, and optimized.
  • Stay current on Salesforce Marketing Cloud releases and capabilities, identifying opportunities for the company to innovate and improve client engagement.
  • Partner with IT to ensure data integrity, security, and seamless integration between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other enterprise systems (CRM, Data Warehouse, etc.).
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and support change management and adoption efforts across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of Product Owner experience within an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, customer journeys, segmentation, and campaign performance metrics.
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder management, business requirement gathering, and translating marketing needs into technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, data models, and integrations between CRM and Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience working with marketing teams on digital transformation, lead nurturing, and personalized engagement strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce Certified Administrator).
  • Experience with SQL, AMPscript, or Marketing Cloud APIs is a plus.
  • Prior experience in financial services, wealth management, or regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of compliance and data privacy requirements for marketing communications (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.).
