Description
We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst to join our team.. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work on a nationwide infrastructure upgrade project. The role involves providing technical support during the pre- and post-validation phases of IT equipment upgrades across over 4,300 locations.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for IT equipment during pre- and post-validation phases of a nationwide switch upgrade project.
Troubleshoot hardware and network issues with a focus on resolving problems promptly and efficiently.
Document all technical processes, issues, and resolutions to ensure accurate records and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to deadlines.
Conduct hardware testing and validation to confirm proper functionality after upgrades.
Respond to and resolve help desk tickets with a high level of customer service.
Follow established protocols for break/fix scenarios to minimize downtime.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates and gather necessary information.
Maintain detailed and organized records of all activities and equipment statuses.
Requirements
Proven experience in IT help desk or technical support roles, including call center environments.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with basic networking concepts and network documentation.
Demonstrated ability to handle break/fix scenarios effectively and efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work on-site during 3rd shift hours, Monday through Thursday.
Previous experience supporting large-scale IT infrastructure projects is a plus.
