Structural Analysis Engineer (Entry-Level or Associate)

The Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) Design-Build Military Flight Test Instrumentation team is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer located in Berkeley, MO.

BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry Level and Associate level Structural Analysis Engineers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop, integrate and document structural requirements to establish the system design
  • Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment
  • Guide product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
  • Develop test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
  • Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
  • Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
  • Develop analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort
  • Investigate emerging technologies to develop future product designs to meet projected requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 1+ years of experience working with stress analysis/structural analysis
  • 1+ years of experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Boeing Analysis Tool (Common Structures Workstation or XSA)
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis Software (FEMAP, Hyperworks, PATRAN/NASTRAN, or ABAQUS).

Summary pay range for entry-level: $65,450 - $88,550

Summary pay range for associate level: $76,500 - $103,500
