Onsite Requirements: On-site preference in Santa Clara, California. The candidate is expected to be available to attend the office 2 to 3 times per week (desirable, not mandatory)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in software development, programming, design, and systems management using Salesforce.
Extensive knowledge of Apex and Visualforce development.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, database design, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Salesforce Certification (Advanced Developer or Platform Developer) is preferred
Contract description
Responsibilities:
- Write maintainable code with extensive test coverage, adhering to professional software engineering practices, including source control and continuous deployment.
- Participate in requirements gathering, design, solution architecture, configuration, and implementation for client projects on the Salesforce platform.
- Utilize object-oriented programming and design concepts to provide expert advice on Salesforce.com solutions.
- Develop custom applications and conduct unit testing using Salesforce.com Apex, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to ensure optimal application performance.
