Oracle Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Jersey City, NJ that is seeking an Oracle Developer who will work with a team of Software Engineers across the globe to develop high quality applications servicing the financial trading industry. The Oracle Developer will have a strong desire to grow their knowledge and capabilities while passionate about the tasks at hand.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 8+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle pl/sql developer
* 5+ years of experience working in financial industry is a plus
* Strong RDBMS skills - SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, user privileges, object privileges, etc.
* Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and design skills with a desire to continually learn and grow in a collaborative team environment
* Has done performance tuning of stored procedures and queries
* Knows ETL processes to load large volumes of data at speed, e.g. SQL Loader, etc.
* Experience in Linux environment and knows basic Unix commands.
* Experience working with team in Agile methodology
* Knowledge of Core Java, Python, scheduling tool like Control-M is nice to have
* Experience in database modeling
* AWS Cloud experience is a plus
* Strong data analysis skills, design, and coding experience in Financial Industry preferably in Capital Markets/Securities Finance
* Understand glossaries and terminologies in financial industry
* Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams
* Motivated and able to deliver end to end solutions
* Good communication skill to both technology folks and business partners
* Quick learner, adaptable, has the right attitude to work across teams to find and deploy solutions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
