Job Description

You will be the Information Systems Security Manager for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control team. Our team is responsible for developing, manufacturing, and supporting advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Information Systems Security Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing interactions with government accreditation authorities to facilitate and maintain 100% active accreditation status of all Authorization to Operate, as well as overseeing technical administration of information systems in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating and managing interactions with government accreditation authorities
  • Overseeing technical administration of information systems
  • Developing and implementing government-approved information security procedures and system security plans
  • Communicating, implementing, and managing a formal Information Security / Information Systems Security Program
  • Overseeing and conducting risk assessments on cybersecurity architecture

The selected candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications

Top Secret Secret Security Clearance

DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification (CISSP/CISM or other relevant certification)

Hands on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools required to achieve accreditation of systems to include vulnerability scanning tools, auditing tools, endpoint protection tools, Security Incident and Event Mgmt (SIEM) tools, package submission tools. Ability to perform an analysis in order to determine path forward in regards to policies and procedures and how to resolve discrepancies.

Experience driving the RMF process while working with government accreditation authorities for approvals and the ability to perform risk and vulnerability assessments in line with current regulatory guidelines such as DAAPM/JSIG/ICD 503.

Proved ability to obtain and maintain system ATOs

Hands-on experience with ICD 503/JSIG and/or DAAPM

Ability to motivate, influence and performance manage people with classified cybersecurity skills.

Ability to effectively translate and connect the cybersecurity objectives and program requirements to broader business outcomes both financially and operationally often requiring effective communication and relationship building with internal stakeholders and external customers.

Desired skills

Currently working in environment supporting IC customers

Experience implementing new and complex technologies at multiple classification levels within large environments and at an Enterprise level

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
