Job Details

Piper Companies is hiring a Security Specialist for a leading world wide tech organization located in RTP, NC. The Security Specialist will need to have an active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility, and will need to work on site in RTP, NC 5 days per week. This is a long term contract opportunity.

Responsibilities of the Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO):
  • Conduct thorough DD254 reviews to ensure compliance with contract security requirements.
  • Support security operations with limited personnel security processing, focusing on PCL processing and escorting as needed.
  • Utilize Defense Information System for Security (DISS) for personnel and contract security tracking.
  • Collaborate with the contract security team to reinforce security protocols across classified projects.
  • Provide guidance and oversight on security measures aligned with NISP compliance.
  • Ensure secure handling and escorting of personnel within classified environments.

Requirements of the Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO):
  • Active TS with SCI Eligibility Clearance
  • Experience in contract security management with a strong understanding of DD254 compliance.
  • Knowledge of DISS, NISP regulations, and personnel clearance processing.
  • Strong ability to assess security risks and implement solutions within contractual guidelines.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills with security teams and government agencies.
  • Availability to work onsite in RTP 5 days a week

Compensation for the Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO):
  • $80,000 - $100,000
