Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer
Location: Quincy, MA
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the Salesforce environment, ensuring system performance, scalability, and data integrity.
Design, develop, test, and deploy customized solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), and declarative tools.
Architect secure, scalable, and high-performing Salesforce solutions following industry best practices.
Lead requirements analysis, design sessions, and architecture discussions with technical and business stakeholders.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and automation to support operational efficiency and data-driven decisions.
Integrate Salesforce with external systems and APIs (REST/SOAP) using middleware and data migration tools.
Support existing applications, workflows, and integrations while optimizing performance and usability.
Stay current with Salesforce releases, emerging features, and DevOps advancements.
Provide user training, documentation, and production support as needed.
Collaborate closely with business analysts, QA, and project managers to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), and declarative configuration.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security, and data models.
Proven experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado, Salesforce DX).
Proficiency in Salesforce data management, deployment, and security settings.
Salesforce Platform Developer II certification or equivalent experience.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Architect certifications (Application Architect or System Architect).
Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks for Salesforce.
Working knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, EKS, Fargate, Batch, Lightsail, WAF, and Step Functions.
Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities in a team-based setting.
