Accounting Analyst w/ Intl. High Tech MFG Org.

Our client, a world-renowned manufacturing company, is looking to hire an Accounting Analyst with Solid Cost and GL Accounting and Analysis experience. This individual will be responsible for the accuracy, integrity, control and timeliness of financial reports, analyses, systems, and processes. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Compile and analyze diverse and complex account information.
• Responsible for the preparation, accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial reports.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Prepare diverse and complex financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
• Maintain accounting controls by auditing compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Collect and analyze account information to reconcile financial discrepancies.

Position Requirements:

• Solid cost accounting, GL accounting, month end close, balance sheet analysis experience.
• Hands-on experience with cost drivers analysis cost roll-up and costing variances,
• Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and/or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex financial reports.
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Bachelor s degree in accounting or equivalent field of study is required.
